Patricia A. Boyle, 60, Businesswoman, Avid Cook, Formerly of Westfield


Patricia A. Boyle, 60, formerly of Westfield, passed away on Monday, June 17, in Fairplay, Colo. She was the daughter of John Boyle of Westfield and the late Jean M. Boyle. Ms. Boyle was predeceased by her husband, Mark Wodtke, who died last February.

A 1977 graduate of Westfield Senior High School, she attended Boston University and The College of Saint Elizabeth in Convent Station. An avid cook, Ms. Boyle had her own property management company in the Breckenridge, Colo. ski country.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Westfield, followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. A luncheon repast was held at Echo Lake Country Club.

Besides her father, she is survived by her stepmother, Lois Powers-Boyle, and her brothers, John of Point Pleasant, Michael and Jeffrey, both of Scotch Plains, Christopher and Timothy, both of Westfield, and William of Washington, D.C. In addition to her brothers, she is survived by her sisters, Kathleen of Forked River and Genevieve of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Scholarship Fund for Inner City Children at 171 Clifton Avenue, Newark, N.J. 07104. June 27, 2019
